Bella Bella, BC – January 15th 2025 — Shearwater Resort is excited to announce a strategic move of its main bar and grill operations to the Oceanfront Lodge, effective from February through April 2025.
“We are excited to make this move to the Oceanfront Lodge, where we can keep our operations streamlined and focus on what matters most—providing quality food and service to our neighbours and visitors alike,” said Jaimie Teagle, COO. “The Oceanfront Lodge offers the perfect setting for our guests, and we’re confident that this move will help us streamline our operations for the upcoming season.”
In conjunction with the move, Shearwater Resort will be hosting a Job Fair in Shearwater at the end of the month. The fair will provide an opportunity for local residents to join the team and participate in a specialized training program set to begin in May. Training for cooks will be provided by Vancouver Community College, while Indigenous Tourism BC will handle training for hospitality front-of-house staff and servers.
“We’re excited to offer this opportunity for skill development and growth within the community,” said Jaimie Teagle. “The job fair and training programs will ensure that we’re well-prepared for a successful season ahead.”
