Available Positions:

Fishing Guide:

Shearwater Resort is currently seeking fishing guide applicants, there are both seasonal and part time (specific to certain trips) available so if you have guiding experience and can only get away for bits of the summer still send in your resume!

Guides should possess at a minimum MED A3, SVOP, first aid, & restricted radio operators card (ROC).
Full time & trip specific position available.

Remuneration starts at $140/day, room & board provided (shared accommodation with other guide staff), transportation to/from the lodge and a share in the tip pool.

Dock Attendant:

Shearwater Resort is currently seeking to hire a lodge dock attendant, responsibilities include looking after the fleet of lodge boats (cleaning, fueling, small repairs, maintaining proper supplies and safety equipment, etc) plus assisting with fish cleaning, dock cleanliness, etc.

This is a full time job, 7 days a week with flex hours during the day, candidates should also posses boat operators card at a minimum and have boating experience as well as a passion for fishing!!

Room and board is included in this job as is transportation in to the lodge at the beginning of the season and return flight at the completion.

Remuneration is $80/day plus a share of the tip pool

Morning Lodge Server:

Shearwater Resort is seeking applications for a morning server for its lodge operation, responsible for getting things prepared for breakfast service, placing out guest lunch orders, serving, prepping for dinner service once guests have left for their daily fishing excursion.

The morning server will also be responsible for assisting in keeping the lodge presentable.Applicants should have serving it right as well as a keen sense of adventure and the love of our great outdoors in BC!Full time position with an approximate start date of July 1 and completion mid September.

Remuneration starts at $100/day, room & board provided, transportation to/from the lodge and a share in the tip pool.
